Woman Killed, Husband Son Injured In Manipur Attack

A woman was killed and her husband and infant son were injured in an attack by suspected militants on Tollen Kuki village in Manipur's Tamenglong district early Sunday. The militants opened indiscriminate fire around 4 a.m. Security forces provided medical assistance to the injured. The Kaimai Village Authority condemned the attack, calling it a malicious attempt to create disharmony and urged an impartial investigation.

मणिपुर के तामेंगलोंग जिले के तोल्लेन कुकी गांव में रविवार तड़के संदिग्ध उग्रवादियों ने हमला कर दिया। इसमें एक महिला की मौत हो गई और उसके पति व छोटे बेटे घायल हो गए। उग्रवादियों ने सुबह करीब 4 बजे अंधाधुंध गोलीबारी की। सुरक्षा बलों ने घायलों को मेडिकल मदद दी। काईमाई ग्राम अथॉरिटी ने इस हमले की निंदा की है और इसे सद्भाव बिगाड़ने की कोशिश बताया है। उन्होंने निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की है।
