Ex-India Cricketer Aakash Chopra Rules Out Sooryavanshi Replacing Samson

Times of India - Sports · sports

Former India opener Aakash Chopra has dismissed the possibility of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi replacing Sanju Samson in India's T20I side, despite Samson's recent modest scores. Samson has struggled in his last four T20I innings, scoring 11, 2, 7, and 9. Chopra argued that constantly questioning Samson's position after every failure is unsustainable for team management. He also considered Nitish Kumar Reddy for a chance but was unsure of the team's plans. India leads the series 1-0 against the West Indies.
