Sebi Eyes Rs 2 Lakh Crore IPO Fundraising

India's primary market could see companies raise up to Rs 2 lakh crore through IPOs, according to Sebi chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey. Approximately Rs 60,000 crore has already been raised in FY27, with over half of proceeds going directly to businesses. Sebi is simplifying market access to boost capital formation and corporate expansion. The regulator is also working to deepen the corporate bond market and increase domestic investor participation, which has seen significant growth.

सेबी की नजर ₹2 लाख करोड़ आईपीओ फंडरेज़िंग पर

सेबी के चेयरमैन तुहिन कांता पांडे के मुताबिक, भारत के शेयर बाज़ार से कंपनियां IPO के ज़रिए ₹2 लाख करोड़ तक जुटा सकती हैं। चालू वित्त वर्ष 2027 में अब तक ₹60,000 करोड़ जुटाए जा चुके हैं, जिसमें से आधे से ज़्यादा सीधे कंपनियों को मिले हैं। सेबी पूंजी निर्माण और कंपनियों के विस्तार को बढ़ावा देने के लिए बाज़ार तक पहुंच को आसान बना रहा है।
