Music composer Anurag Saikia is returning for 'Panchayat' Season 5, aiming to explore new musical directions while preserving the show's original essence. Saikia stated that the music must reflect the show's unpredictable nature, capable of evoking laughter and emotion. He is also experimenting with folk-inspired sounds for his independent musical venture 'Maati'. Meanwhile, Saikia confirmed he will not be composing for the upcoming season of 'Mismatched', concluding his involvement with that series.
