Kerala HC Orders RGSA Staff Stay Till Project

The Kerala High Court has directed that staff engaged under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) Project 2 at the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (Kila) in Thrissur must continue their employment until the project's conclusion. This ruling came in response to a petition challenging Kila's decision to terminate their engagement prematurely, despite the project's extension until at least September 2026. The court emphasized that the employees have a right to continue their service for the project's duration.

केरल HC ने RGSA स्टाफ को प्रोजेक्ट पूरा होने तक जारी रखने का आदेश दिया

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने निर्देश दिया है कि केरल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ लोकल एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (Kila) में राष्‍ट्रीय ग्राम स्‍वराज अभियान (RGSA) प्रोजेक्ट 2 के तहत लगे कर्मचारी प्रोजेक्ट के ख़त्म होने तक अपनी नौकरी जारी रखेंगे। यह फैसला Kila के उस फैसले के खिलाफ दायर याचिका पर आया है जिसमें कर्मचारियों को समय से पहले निकालने का फैसला किया गया था, जबकि प्रोजेक्ट को कम से कम सितंबर 2026 तक बढ़ाया गया है। कोर्ट ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि कर्मचारियों को प्रोजेक्ट की अवधि तक अपनी सेवा जारी रखने का अधिकार है।
