Kashi Launches Disease Control and Dastak Campaigns to Raise Public Awareness

Varanasi has launched special Communicable Disease Control and Dastak campaigns aimed at public awareness. Former minister Neelkanth Tiwari inaugurated the initiatives at Shri Shiv Prasad Gupta Divisional Hospital. A public awareness rally, organized by the Municipal Corporation and Health Department, involved sanitation and ASHA workers. The rally educated citizens on cleanliness, preventing waterlogging, eliminating mosquito breeding sites, and protecting themselves from communicable diseases. Officials emphasized inter-departmental coordination for the campaign's success and urged the public to seek medical advice for fevers instead of self-medicating.

वाराणसी में जनता को जागरूक करने के लिए विशेष संचारी रोग नियंत्रण और दस्तक अभियान शुरू किए गए हैं। पूर्व मंत्री नीलकंठ तिवारी ने श्री शिव प्रसाद गुप्ता मंडलीय अस्पताल में इन पहलों का उद्घाटन किया। नगर निगम और स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा आयोजित एक जन जागरूकता रैली में स्वच्छता और आशा कार्यकर्ता शामिल हुए। रैली में नागरिकों को स्वच्छता, जल जमाव को रोकने, मच्छर पैदा करने वाले स्थलों को खत्म करने और संचारी रोगों से खुद को बचाने के बारे में शिक्षित किया गया। अधिकारियों ने अभियान की सफलता के लिए अंतर-विभागीय समन्वय पर जोर दिया और जनता से बुखार के लिए स्व-दवा के बजाय चिकित्सकीय सलाह लेने का आग्रह किया।
