A man wanted in connection with the Madhya Pradesh hooch tragedy that claimed 16 lives has been apprehended after a brief encounter with police in Sagar district. Shiv Sanjay Rajput, 21, was shot in the leg during the exchange of fire. He was carrying a bounty of ₹30,000. With his arrest, the total number of accused apprehended in the spurious liquor case has risen to 19. Rajput was allegedly involved in brewing the illicit liquor.

सागर जिले में पुलिस से हुई मुठभेड़ के बाद मध्य प्रदेश जहरीली शराब कांड का एक आरोपी शिव संजय राजपूत (21) पकड़ा गया है। इस घटना में 16 लोगों की जान गई थी। गोली लगने से घायल राजपूत पर ₹30,000 का इनाम था। उसकी गिरफ्तारी से नकली शराब मामले में पकड़े गए आरोपियों की संख्या 19 हो गई है। उस पर अवैध शराब बनाने का आरोप है।
