Supreme Court Restores People's Faith After Restricting Protester Detentions

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Union Home Secretary, Delhi Police Commissioner, and Delhi Metro chief for prima facie breaching its previous order against shutting down Metro and train services. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, who had expressed frustration with the judiciary, lauded the SC's decision, stating it restored faith in the justice system. The court directed the normalization of Metro, train, and internet services, and traffic flow in the city.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्रीय गृह सचिव, दिल्ली पुलिस आयुक्त और दिल्ली मेट्रो प्रमुख को मेट्रो और ट्रेन सेवाओं को बंद करने के अपने पिछले आदेश का प्रथम दृष्टया उल्लंघन करने के लिए नोटिस जारी किया है। वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता कपिल सिब्बल, जिन्होंने न्यायपालिका के साथ निराशा व्यक्त की थी, ने एससी के फैसले की प्रशंसा की और कहा कि इसने न्याय प्रणाली में विश्वास बहाल किया है। अदालत ने शहर में मेट्रो, ट्रेन और इंटरनेट सेवाओं के सामान्यीकरण और यातायात प्रवाह का निर्देश दिया।
