Global Gravitational-Wave Network Plan Gets Boost

The LIGO, Virgo, and KAGRA gravitational-wave observatories have signed a memorandum of agreement to establish the International Gravitational Wave Network. This unified global consortium aims to improve coordination and collaboration in gravitational-wave research. The agreement was signed during a meeting hosted by IUCAA in Pune, India, which brought together over 200 researchers. This move harmonises the structures of the observatories, enabling better scientific collaboration and advancing India's participation in global research.
