Monsoon Retreats From UP, Heavy Rain Expected

The southwest monsoon began withdrawing from West Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, four days earlier than usual. However, rainfall activity is expected to intensify over eastern and central parts of the state from Thursday due to a developing deep depression over the Bay of Bengal. Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast for East UP on September 25 and 26, with temperatures likely to drop significantly across the state.

बुधवार को पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश से दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून सामान्य से चार दिन पहले वापस लौटना शुरू हो गया। हालांकि, बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक गहरे दबाव के कारण गुरुवार से राज्य के पूर्वी और मध्य भागों में बारिश की गतिविधियां बढ़ने की उम्मीद है। 25 और 26 सितंबर को पूर्वी यूपी में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश का अनुमान है, जिससे पूरे राज्य में तापमान में काफी गिरावट आने की संभावना है।
