Ashwin Criticises India Management for Kuldeep Yadav's Exclusion

Times of India - Sports · sports

Former India spinner R Ashwin has strongly criticised the team management's decision to drop Kuldeep Yadav during the T20I series against the West Indies. Ashwin questioned the logic behind excluding a wrist-spinner who troubled opposition batters, stating the move "lacks a bit of common sense." He believes Kuldeep's presence could have potentially saved India 15-20 runs in the fourth T20I. While Ashwin understood the exclusion in Indore due to the small ground, he refuted claims that Kuldeep's performance caused India's loss in Ranchi.
