Traders highlighted that their shops, built on trust and affection, could suffer significant losses due to the expected influx of 10 lakh people and 20,000 vehicles. The organization stated that the rally, scheduled just four days before Dhanteras, could halt Diwali trade worth thousands of crores and impact the livelihoods of millions.

दिल्ली के प्रमुख व्यापार मंडल, CTI, ने राहुल गांधी से रामलीला मैदान के पास अपनी नियोजित रैली पर पुनर्विचार करने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिवाली की महत्वपूर्ण खरीदारी के मौसम में व्यवसायों में व्यवधान आ सकता है। व्यापारियों ने बताया कि विश्वास और स्नेह पर बने उनके दुकानें 10 लाख लोगों और 20,000 वाहनों के अपेक्षित आगमन के कारण भारी नुकसान झेल सकती हैं। संगठन ने कहा कि धनतेरस से ठीक चार दिन पहले निर्धारित रैली, हजारों करोड़ रुपये के दिवाली व्यापार को रोक सकती है और लाखों लोगों की आजीविका को प्रभावित कर सकती है।
