India's cybersecurity agency, CERT-In, has warned of AI-powered cyberattacks targeting financial institutions, including banks, fintech firms, and crypto exchanges. The attacks, attributed to a group called 'Crafty Falcon,' exploit holidays and low-monitoring periods to automate intrusions. CERT-In identified four AI tools, ARTEX, PentAGI, Cairn, and CyberStrikeAI, used in these persistent campaigns. At least two tools have reportedly been used by the Chinese government, raising concerns about sophisticated threats to India's financial sector.
