He stated that the Met department had warned about El Nino nine months prior, and the government's delayed response and subsequent blame on BRS are unacceptable. Reddy also challenged the government's assertion that power was unavailable in the energy market, citing lower prices available on the Indian Energy Exchange. He further accused the Chief Minister of diverting Krishna water to Andhra Pradesh, neglecting his home district's interests.
