Kota Boat Capsize: Bodies of Four Youths Recovered After 18 Hours

The bodies of all four youths who went missing after a boat capsized during Durga idol immersion in Rajasthan’s Kota were recovered from the Kotri canal on Wednesday. The accident occurred around 5:30 PM on Tuesday near the Steel Bridge, with seven people swept away. Three individuals, including the boatman, managed to swim to safety. Extensive search operations by NDRF, SDRF, and civil defence personnel resumed on Wednesday morning after being suspended due to darkness. The recovered bodies were shifted to MBS Hospital for post-mortem examinations.

राजस्थान के कोटा में दुर्गा प्रतिमा विसर्जन के दौरान नाव पलटने से लापता हुए चारों युवकों के शव बुधवार को कोटड़ी नहर से बरामद कर लिए गए। यह हादसा मंगलवार शाम करीब 5:30 बजे स्टील ब्रिज के पास हुआ था, जिसमें सात लोग बह गए थे। नाव वाले सहित तीन लोग सुरक्षित तैरकर बाहर निकल आए। अंधेरा होने के कारण रात भर रोकी गई तलाश बुधवार सुबह NDRF, SDRF और नागरिक सुरक्षा कर्मियों द्वारा फिर से शुरू की गई। बरामद शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए MBS अस्पताल भेजा गया।
