Liver Doc Slams Zomato CEO's ₹85,000 Temple Device As 'Scam'

Hepatologist Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, known as 'The Liver Doc', has strongly criticized Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal's ₹85,000 Temple fitness device. Philips labeled the wearable, designed for cerebral blood flow monitoring, as a 'scam' and 'bad science'. Goyal had defended the device, stating it is a wellness tracker, not a medical one, and thus outside doctors' purview. However, Philips questioned its ability to measure brain flow and 'entropy', citing unproven claims and questionable research methodology, even pointing to the company's own Science Lead's admissions.
