India Semiconductor Sector Attracts $1.4 Billion Funding

India's semiconductor sector has attracted $1.4 billion in equity funding across 281 companies, with nearly half raised since 2025. The sector raised $701 million since 2025, including $228 million in 2026 so far. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 on September 17 in New Delhi. Bengaluru leads as the largest semiconductor hub, accounting for 18% of India's companies and 40.1% of sector funding.

भारत के सेमीकंडक्टर सेक्टर में 281 कंपनियों के लिए 1.4 अरब डॉलर की इक्विटी फंडिंग आई है। इसमें से लगभग आधा पैसा 2025 के बाद आया है। 2025 से अब तक 701 मिलियन डॉलर जुटाए गए हैं, जिसमें 2026 में अब तक 228 मिलियन डॉलर शामिल हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 17 सितंबर को नई दिल्ली में SEMICON India 2026 का उद्घाटन करेंगे। बेंगलुरु सबसे बड़ा सेमीकंडक्टर हब है।
