National Herald Case: Delhi HC Refuses to Halt Release of AJL's Attached Properties

The Delhi High Court has refused to grant an interim order regarding the release of properties attached in the National Herald case. ED had sought to prevent the release of these assets, which were attached as part of a money laundering investigation involving Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. The ED challenged a trial court order that had refused to take cognizance of their prosecution complaint. The High Court clarified that it was not passing any interim order at this stage.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने नेशनल हेराल्ड केस में अटैच की गई प्रॉपर्टीज़ को रिलीज़ करने के संबंध में कोई अंतरिम आदेश देने से इनकार कर दिया है। ED ने इन संपत्तियों को रिलीज़ होने से रोकने की मांग की थी, जिन्हें सोनिया गांधी और राहुल गांधी से जुड़े मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच के तहत अटैच किया गया था। ED ने ट्रायल कोर्ट के उस आदेश को चुनौती दी थी जिसने उनकी अभियोजन शिकायत पर संज्ञान लेने से इनकार कर दिया था। हाई कोर्ट ने स्पष्ट किया कि वह इस स्तर पर कोई अंतरिम आदेश पारित नहीं कर रहा है।
