An ed-tech entrepreneur has advised Indian students against pursuing master's degrees in the US, citing the high cost and difficulty in securing jobs. Dhaval Patel stated that a two-year master's program can cost around $100,000, leaving students with substantial debt if they cannot find employment or an H-1B visa. This warning comes as the US tightens visa regulations, making it harder for international students to transition from F-1 to H-1B visas. Many students are reportedly returning to India without jobs after completing their studies.

एक एड-टेक उद्यमी ने भारतीय छात्रों को अमेरिका में मास्टर्स डिग्री लेने से मना किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि वहां पढ़ाई बहुत महंगी है और नौकरी मिलना भी मुश्किल है। धवल पटेल ने बताया कि 2 साल की मास्टर्स डिग्री पर करीब $100,000 का खर्च आ सकता है। अगर छात्रों को नौकरी नहीं मिली या H-1B वीज़ा नहीं मिला, तो वे भारी कर्ज में डूब सकते हैं। यह चेतावनी ऐसे समय में आई है जब अमेरिका वीज़ा नियमों को सख्त कर रहा है, जिससे अंतरराष्ट्रीय छात्रों के लिए F-1 से H-1B वीज़ा में बदलना और मुश्किल हो गया है। कई छात्र पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद बिना नौकरी के भारत लौट रहे हैं।
