No Online Games Registered Under New Law

As of September 1, 2026, no online game has received registration from OGAI. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) informed the Central Information Commission (CIC) that 201 complaints related to online gaming have been received. The new Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, and its associated rules came into effect on May 1 this year, establishing the OGAI to oversee the sector.

सितंबर 2026 तक, OGAI से किसी भी ऑनलाइन गेम को रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं मिला है। MeitY ने CIC को बताया कि ऑनलाइन गेमिंग से जुड़ी 201 शिकायतें मिली हैं। ऑनलाइन गेमिंग को बढ़ावा देने और रेगुलेट करने का नया एक्ट 2025 और इसके नियम 1 मई से लागू हुए थे, जिसके तहत इस सेक्टर की देखरेख के लिए OGAI बनाया गया है।
