Uttar Pradesh's Fisheries Department has received investment proposals totaling ₹600.20 crore during the recent International Trade Show. Investors expressed keen interest in various sub-sectors including fisheries, feed mills, cold chain, hatchery and seed production, and value addition and export. The department aims to boost fish production and productivity through private investment, enhance infrastructure, and promote value-added products. Prominent investors like Fish White Varanasi and BVG India Private Limited submitted proposals, indicating significant potential for growth in the state's fisheries industry.
