Delhi Metro Stations Reopen After CJP Protest Disruptions

Following a CJP protest, over 50 Delhi Metro stations, numerous trains, and several institutions were temporarily closed. Security remained high in Connaught Place and Lutyens' Delhi. While over 3,000 protesters were detained, thousands remained, raising concerns about continued disruptions. Most metro stations are expected to resume normal operations morning, with only minor security checks near sensitive areas. Traffic diversions and heavy vehicle checks are also being eased, with services like Uber and Ola expected to run without significant restrictions.

CJP के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद, 50 से ज़्यादा दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन, कई ट्रेनें और कई संस्थान अस्थायी रूप से बंद कर दिए गए थे। कनॉट प्लेस और लुटियंस दिल्ली में सुरक्षा कड़ी बनी रही। जहाँ 3,000 से ज़्यादा प्रदर्शनकारियों को हिरासत में लिया गया, वहीं हज़ारों लोग मौजूद रहे, जिससे लगातार व्यवधानों की चिंताएँ बढ़ गईं। सुबह तक ज़्यादातर मेट्रो स्टेशनों पर सामान्य परिचालन फिर से शुरू होने की उम्मीद है, केवल संवेदनशील इलाकों के पास मामूली सुरक्षा जाँच की जाएगी। ट्रैफिक डायवर्जन और भारी वाहनों की जाँच में भी ढील दी जा रही है, और Uber और Ola जैसी सेवाओं के बिना किसी बड़े प्रतिबंध के चलने की उम्मीद है।
