The state agriculture department completed an unprecedented assessment involving nearly three crore site visits, a significant increase from the 35,000 visits during the previous exercise. This memorandum is crucial as farmers across several regions have suffered extensive kharif crop losses, with drought conditions impacting agriculture, water availability, and livestock.
