High Court Upholds BrahMos Chief's Appointment

The Telangana High Court has set aside a Central Administrative Tribunal order that had suspended the appointment of Jaiteerth R Joshi as BrahMos Aerospace director general. This decision allows Joshi to continue leading India's supersonic missile program. The tribunal's order, issued, had been challenged by the Union government and Joshi. Senior scientist Sivasubramaniam Nambi Naidu had previously challenged Joshi's appointment, claiming he was superseded.

हाई कोर्ट ने ब्रह्मोस प्रमुख की नियुक्ति को बरकरार रखा

तेलंगाना हाई कोर्ट ने सेंट्रल एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव ट्रिब्यूनल (CAT) के उस आदेश को रद्द कर दिया है जिसमें जैतेर्थ आर जोशी की ब्रह्मोस एयरोस्पेस के महानिदेशक के तौर पर नियुक्ति पर रोक लगा दी गई थी। इस फैसले से जोशी भारत के सुपरसोनिक मिसाइल कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व करते रहेंगे। केंद्र सरकार और जोशी ने ट्रिब्यूनल के आदेश को चुनौती दी थी।
