Ineligible names on voter list due to appeasement: Maurya backs Election Commission's SIR process

He claimed that ineligible names were added to voter lists due to appeasement politics and are now being removed. Maurya asserted that fair elections and accurate voter lists are priorities for the BJP. He also expressed confidence that the BJP would win the 2027 state elections for a third consecutive term.

उत्तर प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य ने शुक्रवार को चुनाव आयोग के काम की सराहना की और कहा कि भाजपा SIR प्रक्रिया का समर्थन करती है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति के कारण मतदाता सूचियों में अयोग्य नाम जोड़े गए थे और अब उन्हें हटाया जा रहा है। मौर्य ने जोर देकर कहा कि निष्पक्ष चुनाव और सटीक मतदाता सूचियां भाजपा की प्राथमिकताएं हैं। उन्होंने यह भी विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि भाजपा 2027 के राज्य चुनावों में लगातार तीसरी बार जीत हासिल करेगी।
