Officers Told To Ensure Error-Free Electoral Roll

K.B. Sivakumar, KSRTC MD and observer for Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, has instructed Shivamogga district administration officials to ensure an error-free electoral roll. During a review meeting, discrepancies involving 48,666 voters were identified, including 15,164 unmapped names. Booth-level officers must verify deceased, shifted, and fake entries for deletion. Awareness campaigns are also planned to enrol new voters above 18 years of age.
