POWERGRID Reports 8% Rise in Q2 Profit to ₹3,866 Crore

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) announced an 8% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹3,866 crore for the quarter ending September 30, 2026. Consolidated total income also saw a 3% rise, reaching ₹12,055 crore during the second quarter of FY2026-27. The company, a PSU under the Union ministry of power, incurred capital expenditure of ₹16,864 crore up to September 30. POWERGRID also emerged as the successful bidder for six new transmission projects during the quarter and declared an interim dividend of ₹3 per equity share.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) ने 30 सितंबर 2026 को समाप्त तिमाही के लिए समेकित कर पश्चात लाभ (PAT) में 8% साल-दर-साल वृद्धि की घोषणा की, जो ₹3,866 करोड़ रहा। FY2026-27 की दूसरी तिमाही के दौरान समेकित कुल आय में भी 3% की वृद्धि हुई, जो ₹12,055 करोड़ तक पहुंच गई। बिजली मंत्रालय के तहत एक PSU कंपनी ने 30 सितंबर तक ₹16,864 करोड़ का पूंजीगत व्यय किया। POWERGRID तिमाही के दौरान छह नई ट्रांसमिशन परियोजनाओं के लिए सफल बोलीदाता के रूप में उभरी और ₹3 प्रति इक्विटी शेयर का अंतरिम लाभांश घोषित किया।
