The DMK party has criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his alleged silence regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Tamil Nadu. While Gandhi led a protest and was arrested in New Delhi, the DMK questioned his stance on voter deletions through SIR in Tamil Nadu. They specifically asked why he was not supporting Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's statement calling for the dissolution of assemblies elected after SIR and fresh elections. The DMK spokesperson questioned if Gandhi was afraid of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay.

डीएमके पार्टी ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की तमिलनाडु में स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) प्रक्रिया को लेकर कथित चुप्पी की आलोचना की है। जहाँ गांधी ने नई दिल्ली में एक विरोध प्रदर्शन का नेतृत्व किया और उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया, वहीं डीएमके ने तमिलनाडु में SIR के माध्यम से मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने पर उनके रुख पर सवाल उठाया। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से पूछा कि वे कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे के SIR के बाद चुनी गई विधानसभाओं को भंग करने और नए चुनाव कराने के बयान का समर्थन क्यों नहीं कर रहे थे। डीएमके के प्रवक्ता ने सवाल किया कि क्या गांधी तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री सी. जोसेफ विजय से डरते थे।
