Prudential Financial Sets Up Global Capability Centre in Gurugram

US-based financial services giant Prudential Financial Inc (PFI) has established its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Gurugram, India. The 150-year-old company aims to leverage India's engineering and AI talent to modernize its technology and enhance customer service globally. The centre will focus on product development, legacy system upgrades, and AI/data architecture, with plans to double its current employee count of over 80 by year-end. This move signifies a shift towards in-house strategic work, complementing existing outsourcing partnerships.

अमेरिका की फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज कंपनी Prudential Financial Inc (PFI) ने गुरुग्राम, भारत में अपना पहला ग्लोबल कैपेबिलिटी सेंटर (GCC) खोला है। 150 साल पुरानी यह कंपनी दुनिया भर में अपनी टेक्नोलॉजी को बेहतर बनाने और कस्टमर सर्विस को बढ़ाने के लिए भारत के इंजीनियरिंग और AI टैलेंट का फायदा उठाना चाहती है। यह सेंटर प्रोडक्ट डेवलपमेंट, पुराने सिस्टम को अपग्रेड करने और AI/डेटा आर्किटेक्चर पर ध्यान देगा, और साल के अंत तक अपने मौजूदा 80 से ज़्यादा कर्मचारियों की संख्या दोगुनी करने की योजना है। यह कदम इन-हाउस स्ट्रैटेजिक काम की ओर एक बदलाव का संकेत देता है, जो मौजूदा आउटसोर्सिंग पार्टनरशिप को पूरा करेगा।
