Election Commission Sticks to Form-6 for Deleted Voters Amidst Form-8 Demand

A dispute has arisen between the Election Commission and petitioners in Delhi regarding the special intensive revision of voter lists. The commission insists on using Form-6 for individuals whose names were removed from draft lists, while petitioners argue for Form-8 or enumeration forms. They contend that voters previously on the list should not have to reapply as new voters.

दिल्ली में वोटर लिस्ट के विशेष सघन पुनरीक्षण को लेकर इलेक्शन कमीशन और याचिकाकर्ताओं के बीच विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। कमीशन का कहना है कि ड्राफ्ट लिस्ट से जिन लोगों के नाम हटाए गए हैं, उन्हें फॉर्म-6 भरना होगा। लेकिन याचिकाकर्ता फॉर्म-8 या एन्यूमरेशन फॉर्म की मांग कर रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि जो वोटर पहले से लिस्ट में थे, उन्हें नए वोटर की तरह फिर से अप्लाई नहीं करना चाहिए।
