Hyderabad Software Engineer Dies by Suicide After Colleague Rejects Marriage Proposal

A software engineer in Hyderabad, identified as Archana Choudhary Malik from Uttar Pradesh, died by suicide via video call to her colleague. She had reportedly proposed marriage, and when he did not respond, she threatened to take her life. The colleague, who was out of town attending a function, received the call around 2:30 AM. He returned to Hyderabad the next morning and found her body hanging in her apartment. Police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the matter, questioning the colleague and searching the victim's room.
