Two Stolen Renoir Paintings Recovered From French Museum

Two paintings by Auguste Renoir, stolen a month ago from the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France, have been recovered. Thieves broke into the museum on September 8th, cutting through a fence and smashing a window. Six suspects have been arrested in connection with the heist. The recovered works are "Jeune fille au puits" (1886) and "Portrait of Madame Colonna Romano" (1910). The mayor expressed immense joy and profound relief, stating the paintings are part of the city's history and heritage.
