ED has repossessed a flat in Thane, Maharashtra, linked to a money laundering case involving Iqbal Kaskar, brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The flat was previously seized by the ED but was allegedly trespassed upon, with its locks tampered with and an eviction notice removed. The ED had provisionally attached the property in April 2022 as part of its investigation into a money laundering case related to alleged extortion.
