Uddhav Thackeray has demanded the immediate removal of Chief Election Commissioner Dnyanesh Kumar, citing alleged concerns raised by two Election Commissioners regarding the functioning of the Election Commission. Thackeray stated that opposition parties have long voiced concerns over the ECI's decisions, which he described as anti-democratic. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action, suggesting the CEC was operating on instructions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
