JSW Thermal Orders Turbine Generators for Salboni TPP

JSW Thermal Energy has contracted Toshiba JSW Power Systems to procure two 800 MW steam turbine generators for Phase 2 of its Salboni Thermal Project in West Bengal. This order completes the equipment procurement for the entire 3,200 MW Salboni Thermal Power Project. The company aims to enhance supply chain certainty and reduce execution risks by sourcing from an associate company. JSW Energy currently has 5,958 MW of installed thermal capacity and 5,000 MW under construction.

जेएसडब्ल्यू थर्मल एनर्जी ने पश्चिम बंगाल में अपने सलबोनी थर्मल प्रोजेक्ट के दूसरे चरण के लिए टोशिबा जेएसडब्ल्यू पावर सिस्टम्स से दो 800 मेगावाट के स्टीम टर्बाइन जनरेटर खरीदने का करार किया है। इससे 3,200 मेगावाट के पूरे सलबोनी थर्मल पावर प्रोजेक्ट के लिए उपकरणों की खरीद पूरी हो गई है। कंपनी का लक्ष्य एक सहयोगी कंपनी से खरीद कर आपूर्ति श्रृंखला को सुरक्षित करना और जोखिम कम करना है। जेएसडब्ल्यू एनर्जी के पास फिलहाल 5,958 मेगावाट की स्थापित थर्मल क्षमता है और 5,000 मेगावाट निर्माणाधीन है।
