Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that Paris will soon become a 'Muslim city,' criticising French President Emmanuel Macron's immigration policies. Trump stated that allowing people from around the world to enter France is a significant mistake. While France has a notable Muslim population, official statistics do not support the claim that Paris will soon become a Muslim-majority city. A 2023 report indicated about 10% of adults in mainland France identified as Muslim, with 29% identifying as Catholic and 51% as non-religious.
