Tata Aeris withstands 20-ton rock drop test

Tata Motors has launched its new sedan, the Tata Aeris, in India starting at ₹5.29 lakh. A recent safety demonstration showed the car's robustness when approximately 20 tons of rocks and gravel were dropped onto it from a dumper. Despite the immense weight, the car's structure remained largely intact and was driven afterward. This demonstration aimed to highlight the strength of the car's body structure and chassis, though it is not a substitute for official crash test ratings.
