R Ashwin Stand At 110-Year-Old Stadium

Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will be honored with a stand named after him at the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The 110-year-old venue, where Ashwin honed his skills, will now bear his name. Former cricketers K Srikkanth and S Venkataraghavan will also be honored with stands. The stands will be inaugurated before the Big Bash League match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Renegades. Ashwin has taken 537 Test wickets for India.

स्पिनर रविचंद्रन अश्विन को चेन्नई के ऐतिहासिक एमए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में उनके नाम पर एक स्टैंड से सम्मानित किया जाएगा। 110 साल पुराने इस मैदान, जहां अश्विन ने अपने हुनर को निखारा, अब उनके नाम से जाना जाएगा। पूर्व क्रिकेटर के श्रीकांत और एस वेंकटराघवन को भी स्टैंड से सम्मानित किया जाएगा। बिग बैश लीग के पर्थ स्कॉर्चर्स और मेलबर्न रेनेगेड्स के मैच से पहले स्टैंड का उद्घाटन किया जाएगा। अश्विन ने भारत के लिए 537 टेस्ट विकेट लिए हैं।
