A viral video shows Shastri commenting on Krishna's posture, flute playing, and the name of Vrindavan. He reportedly stated that Krishna's photos show him looking askance and standing in a bent posture, unlike Lord Ram. Critics question the appropriateness of such language from a spiritual leader advocating Hindu unity. Shastri has not yet issued a clarification regarding the video.
