A 29-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly strangled to death by her husband in Rohtak, just two months after their marriage. The victim, Sushma Rani, was reportedly killed by her husband, Aneesh Kumar, at their residence following an argument. The incident allegedly occurred in the presence of Sushma's nine-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Police have recorded the daughter's statement and are searching for the accused, who fled the scene after the alleged crime. The woman was approximately five months pregnant.
