UPI Daily Transactions Exceed ₹1 Lakh Crore in October, Setting New Records

UPI has achieved a significant milestone, with average daily transactions surpassing ₹1 lakh crore in October for the first time. This surge is largely attributed to increased consumer spending during the festive season. The total transaction value for the month exceeded ₹31.53 lakh crore, breaking previous records set in September and May. In terms of volume, UPI processed 25.47 billion transactions in October, averaging 821 million daily uses, also a new record.
