Bombay HC Rules Rs 25 Cr Received by Avinash Bhosale's Firm Not Proceeds of Crime

The Bombay High Court has provided relief to builder Avinash Bhosale, ruling that Rs 25 crore received by his company ABIL from Sanjay Chhabria in February 2019 does not constitute proceeds of crime. The court set aside the provisional attachment of Rs 25 crore over two properties by the Appellate Tribunal under the SAFEMA Act. The Enforcement Directorate had alleged the amount was linked to a larger scam involving YES Bank and DHFL.

बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट ने बिल्डर अविनाश भोसले को राहत दी है। कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाया है कि फरवरी 2019 में उनकी कंपनी ABIL को संजय छबड़िया से मिले 25 करोड़ रुपये अपराध की कमाई नहीं हैं। कोर्ट ने SAFEMA एक्ट के तहत अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण द्वारा 25 करोड़ रुपये की दो संपत्तियों पर की गई अस्थायी कुर्की को रद्द कर दिया। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने आरोप लगाया था कि यह राशि YES Bank और DHFL से जुड़े एक बड़े घोटाले से जुड़ी है।
