Bill Gates Impressed By China's AI Growth

Bill Gates expressed admiration for China's rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, noting that both China and the US have multiple institutions with state-of-the-art AI models. He described the competition between the two nations as a "super competition" for talent and computing power. Gates suggested this rivalry could benefit poorer countries by increasing access to cheaper AI tools. He also proposed China and the US each dedicate 5% of their data-centre computing power for global aid.
