गोवा फॉरवर्ड पार्टी के अध्यक्ष विजई सरदेसाई ने विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले फतोर्डा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में चुनावी सूचियों में बड़े पैमाने पर हेरफेर का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि बीजेपी सरकारी अधिकारियों पर अल्पसंख्यक मतदाताओं को हटाने का दबाव बना रही है, और कहा कि उनके निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में 10% से अधिक मतदाताओं को अनुचित तरीके से हटा दिया गया है। सरदेसाई ने जोर देकर कहा कि इस कथित "वोट चोरी" में शामिल अधिकारियों को निलंबित और बर्खास्त किया जाएगा। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के बीजेपी के मजबूत बचाव पर भी सवाल उठाया, यह सुझाव देते हुए कि वह पार्टी की ओर से काम कर रहे होंगे।
