Pillion Rider Dies After Car Hits Motorcycle From Behind in Mangaluru

A pillion rider named Gopal died after the motorcycle he was on was struck from behind by a car in Mannapu, Bantwal taluk, Mangaluru on Friday night. The motorcycle's rider, Zakaria, also sustained injuries in the accident. Both were initially treated at a local hospital before being transferred to a private facility in Mangaluru, where Gopal succumbed to his injuries. The car driver has been identified as Afreed. Bantwal Traffic Police have registered a case against the driver under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

शुक्रवार रात मंगलुरु के बंटवाल तालुका के मन्नापु में गोपाल नाम का एक पिलियन राइडर उस मोटरसाइकिल पर था जिसे पीछे से एक कार ने टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में मोटरसाइकिल सवार ज़कारिया भी घायल हो गए। दोनों को पहले एक स्थानीय अस्पताल में इलाज दिया गया और फिर मंगलुरु के एक निजी अस्पताल में ले जाया गया, जहाँ गोपाल ने दम तोड़ दिया। कार चालक की पहचान अफ़रीद के रूप में हुई है। बंटवाल ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने भारतीय न्याय संहिता की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है।
