Literary Festival Celebrates Karnataka's Indigenous Languages

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Bengaluru will host a three-day literary festival, 'Karnataka Nudi Thota', starting October 2, 2026. The event aims to discuss the past, present, and future of Karnataka's indigenous languages, including Kodava, Tulu, and Konkani. Over 30 scholars will participate in what is claimed to be a first-of-its-kind festival in the state. The festival is free to attend and will be inaugurated by Health Minister U.T. Khader, with M. Veerappa Moily as the chief guest.

कर्नाटक की स्थानीय भाषाओं का साहित्यिक उत्सव

बेंगलुरु में भारतीय विद्या भवन 2 अक्टूबर 2026 से तीन दिवसीय साहित्यिक उत्सव 'कर्नाटक नुडी थोता' की मेजबानी करेगा। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य कोडवा, तुलु और कोंकणी सहित कर्नाटक की स्थानीय भाषाओं के अतीत, वर्तमान और भविष्य पर चर्चा करना है। 30 से अधिक विद्वान इसमें भाग लेंगे, जिसे राज्य में अपनी तरह का पहला उत्सव बताया जा रहा है। यह उत्सव मुफ्त है और इसका उद्घाटन स्वास्थ्य मंत्री यू.टी. खादर करेंगे, जबकि एम. वीरप्पा मोइली मुख्य अतिथि होंगे।
