The Telangana High Court has dismissed an appeal by the police department challenging a single judge's order reinstating Sub-Inspector Konda Janaiah. The department had sought to remove the 2018-batch SI from service, citing a pending criminal case registered by his wife under Section 498A of the IPC and the Dowry Prohibition Act. However, the High Court noted that the SI's service record was satisfactory and the criminal case was still unresolved.
