भारत-न्यूजीलैंड एफटीए 20 अक्टूबर से प्रभावी

भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट (FTA) सोमवार को मंजूर हो गया है और यह 20 अक्टूबर से लागू होगा। इस समझौते से अगले पांच सालों में दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार दोगुना होकर ₹35,000 करोड़ तक पहुंचने की उम्मीद है। न्यूजीलैंड अपने 95% निर्यात पर भारत को टैक्स में छूट या कम शुल्क देगा, जबकि भारत ने डेयरी और खेती जैसे अपने अहम क्षेत्रों को सुरक्षित रखा है। इससे छोटे कारोबारियों, किसानों और कारीगरों को फायदा होगा।
