Jammu & Kashmir Police Sees Major Rejig With 100 Senior Officers Transferred

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the transfer of 100 senior police officers in a significant reshuffling of the police force. The transfers include 28 Indian Police Service officers and the rest from the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service. Several district police chiefs have been reassigned, with new leadership appointed in districts like Ganderbal, Kupwara, and Poonch, as well as police districts such as Sopore and Handwara.

जम्मू और कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने पुलिस बल में एक बड़े फेरबदल के तहत 100 वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारियों के तबादले का आदेश दिया है। इन तबादलों में 28 Indian Police Service के अधिकारी शामिल हैं और बाकी जम्मू और कश्मीर पुलिस सर्विस के हैं। कई जिला पुलिस प्रमुखों को फिर से नियुक्त किया गया है, गंदरबल, कुपवाड़ा और पुंछ जैसे जिलों के साथ-साथ सोपोर और हंदवाड़ा जैसे पुलिस जिलों में नई नेतृत्व नियुक्त किया गया है।
