BJP Leader Alleges Horse Trading in Madurantakam Bypoll

BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran has accused the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of horse trading in the Madurantakam Assembly constituency bypoll. He questioned the amount of money exchanged for the former AIADMK legislator Maragatham Kumaravel's resignation and subsequent candidacy with TVK. Nagenthran stated that such actions lead to unnecessary expenditure for the exchequer. He also criticized the Chief Minister's London visit and alleged a lack of control over the police force.

भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नैनार नागेंद्रन ने मदुरंथकम विधानसभा सीट पर उपचुनाव में तमिलनाडु வெற்றி கழகम (TVK) पर हॉर्स ट्रेडिंग का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने पूर्व AIADMK विधायक मरगथम कुमारवेल के इस्तीफे और बाद में TVK के साथ उम्मीदवार बनने के लिए लेन-देन की गई राशि पर सवाल उठाया। नागेंद्रन ने कहा कि ऐसे कामों से सरकारी खजाने पर अनावश्यक खर्च होता है। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री की लंदन यात्रा की भी आलोचना की और पुलिस बल पर नियंत्रण की कमी का आरोप लगाया।
